Open Fad: a new website for West Michigan!

I have net yet determined were I'm going with this site except to post documents that could be of use to students and system technicians and also to learn more about Joomla.

One goal of Open Fad is to shine a spotlight on all the free open source software that is available for home and business use. To educate people on software that can advance there computer experience.

I want to give and take advice on what we can do to save money and still be productive at home and work. Focusing mainly on Information System Management Majors, Computer Science Majors and Business Majors who do not always have the right solutions at work for what needs to be done or just want to find more information on finding a career or solutions in Michigan.

I hope that this site will also be helpful for school students looking to further educate themselves.

I will continually add links for info on West Michigan businesses, careers, associates and groups who also share a focus on technology and business in West Michigan.

This is an ongoing project that is just starting to take off at the end of 2008.
